Precision Turned Steel Roller Guides for the Hydraulics Industry
In need of a steel roller guide, a manufacturer from the hydraulics industry turned to Hollander Machine to take advantage of our expertise in metal parts manufacturing screw machining services. Made from 100% U.S. 12L14 steel, this precision turned roller guide was center drilled, reamed, chamfered and cut off on our Brown & Sharpe screw machine. The finished part measured .501″ long with an outer diameter of .303″, which tapered down to .171″ in the middle, and an inner diameter of .100″. Our precision turning service produced the 1,000 piece order to manufacturing tolerances of ±.005″. Precision USA performed in-process testing to ensure that all dimensions precisely met the specifications set by the client.
